This collection contains three family histories-one of Ray P. Cox, one of George Byron Cox, Jr., and one of Susan Lucretia Henrie Cox. It also contains a compact disc that contains each of the histories. Also included is a diary that contains notes from a lecture given by Benjamin Cluff, Jr. The notebook was kept by George B. Cox, Jr.

Plans for the David O. McKay building began in 1952 after an evaluation by the Brigham Young University College of Education concluded that the existing building for the College of Education were no longer meeting the growing needs of the program.
